About this Resources Page:
This page includes links an internal (EAS) Article page and EAS posts containing outbound links to external resources designed to give business owners the guidance they need to better understand the root causes of the issues they face, not just the symptoms. In addition, there are links to help individuals with financial or tax questions.
Resources Categories Explained:
External – Relevant and trending small business topics to assist owners and would-be entrepreneurs understand the pros and cons of establishing businesses in the faster growing sectors of the economy.
External – Several links to articles for would-be entrepreneurs that lay the foundation of what it takes for small business success. From identifying and creating plans to market products and services; creating a mindset “shift” from being an employee to helping clients and customers identify and solve their problems; to establishing repeatable processes to build/complete/deliver these product and service solutions with the amount of sales volume necessary to support the business structure.
External links to Personal Finance and Tax “asset” information, such as IRS.gov sites designed to assist and provide answers to individuals for common, frequently asked questions.
Articles is not a category but a heading and link to the Articles Page. The Articles Page further defines the types of Articles contained in several categories – Accounting and Bookkeeping or Budegting, Forecasting & Cash Flow, for example and the articles contained within each category. These categories were created to help you, the user find your topic of interest, quicker.
Internal – These article posts are organized by article category, designed to help guide entrepreneurs and would-be owners in, 1. establishing the most appropriate business structure; 2. developing business plans on how to price products and services; 3. the importance of establishing baseline business models, consistent with budget and pricing constraints and; 4. creating repeatable processes to enable sales volume “velocity” to sustain and grow the business.
Internal – This is a Business Problems and Solutions category for those owners and businesses that have more acute financial or operationsl issues and problems that demand action, as soon as possible. Much of the content in this category discusses how to improve cash flow beyond obvious measures and methods to avoid funding operating shortfalls with long-term debt.
The News Category captures announcements made by Engineered Accounting Solutions.
Newsletters are published (“periodically,” need to do a better job here) for the benefit of clients, friends and prospects that are meant to be fun and informative, and light on accounting, and tax technical detail.
The Offers | Promotions Page (under construction) details a Construction Scorecard offer to help Construction Firms characterize and dimension the business quality of the types of jobs they have.
